The filter must be installed as near the engine as possible. The diameter of the pipe between the fine filter and the engine should be the same as the diameter before the filters.

Fuel viscosity: according to fuel specifications. Design temperature: 50°C. Design flow: larger than feed/circulation pump capacity. Design pressure: 1.6 MPa (16 bar). Filter fineness: 25 µm (absolute mesh size). Maximum permitted pressure drop at 14 cSt: 20 kPa (0.2 bar) for a clean filter and 80 kPa (0.8 bar) at alarm.
